Display Rev (CMD + 5 + 9)
1. Ensure your keypad shows idle disarmed text.
2. Press the CMD button. The display shows
*System Command*.
3. Press the 5 button and then the 9 button.
If you prefer, you might use the function
list in place of Steps 2 and 3 to initiate
this function.
Press the Menu button to enter the
function list.
Press the Next button repeatedly.
When you reach the Display Revision
button, press it.
4. The display changes to *BOSCH D7412GV2*.
(D7412GV2 is used as an example, other
control panels could be
D9412GV3/D9412GV2, D7412GV3,
D7212GV3/D7212GV2.)
5. The display returns to idle text after 5 sec.
Service Menu (9 + 9 + Enter)
The service menu is used to access the following
commands:
View Log - Use this function to review events in
your system at your keypad. Reviewing past events
might help you identify problems. Viewing events
will not require any additional equipment since the
information is shown at your keypad. Events are
stored in the control panel’s memory in order of
occurrence and tagged with the date and time.
Print Log - The Print Log function lets you print
the events stored in your security system’s log. You
can choose to print the entire log or set a start date
and print the events recorded from that date up to
today. Your system must include a parallel printer
interface and a printer to perform this function.
Display Rev (COMMAND + 5 + 9) - The
command retrieves the control panel’s software
version and display it.
Service Walk (D9412/D9112 only) – The
command allows all the points on the system to be
walk tested regardless of the type of point. For
D7412GV3/D7412GV2 and
D7212GV3/D7212GV2 Control Panels this
function must be added to the keypad’s menu.

information.
Default Text – This command shows the current
state of the area for 3 sec before returning to idle
text.
Keypad Programming - This optional command
is only included in this menu when enabled and
when all areas are disarmed. Access is restricted to
the Service User only. Through this menu, you can
change a limited selection of system configuration
parameters. Consult your security company for
details.
1. Ensure your keypad shows idle disarmed text.
2. Press the 9 button twice.
3. Press the ENTER button.
4. The display changes to show the service menu.
Service Walk Test appears on D9412GV2 and
D9412GV3 control panels only.
