Change Display (CMD + 4 + 9)
Show Continuous Time/Date
Use this function to replace the disarmed idle text with
a continuous time and date display and to prevent a
passersby from knowing the status of your system.
Any time your keypad has an event to display, the
time and date display is automatically removed. To
return the time and date display, you must perform
this function again.
1. Ensure your keypad shows idle disarmed text.
2. Press the CMD button. The display shows
*System Command*.
3. Press the 4 and then the 9 button.
If you prefer, you might use the function
list in place of Steps 2 and 3 to initiate
this function.
Press the Menu button to enter the
function list.
Press the Next button repeatedly.
When you reach the Change Display
button, press it.
4. Select Time/Date Display. The display will return
to idle and the area status will be replaced with the
Time and Date.
The Bright Display and Dim Display
options are not supported on the D1265
keypad.
Extend Closing (CMD + 5 + 1)
Your system might be programmed to expect you to
arm within a scheduled closing window, which is a
duration of time that is programmed by your alarm
company. Your system might also be programmed to
automatically arm at the end of the window.
CMD 51 lets you extend the scheduled closing window
time either prior to the closing window time or during
the closing window time. Use this function when you
expect to stay past the scheduled end of the closing
window. Your alarm company sets the length of time
prior to the start of the closing window in which you
are allowed to extend the closing window.
Close window is not currently active shows during
the time when the keypad won’t allow the window to
be extended.
At the beginning of the closing window, the keypad
beeps and shows Please Close Now to remind you to
arm your system. It remains on the display until you
arm, the close window ends, or you extend closing.
The closing window can only be extended
once the window has started.
Alarm or trouble messages replace this message in the
event of an alarm or trouble condition.
Pressing the Silence button silences the beep and clear
the message for 10 minutes.
If the alarm or trouble condition clears before the end
of the close window Please Close Now
message
returns to the keypad display.
