Usage
Information
If you apply a route map to a BGP peer or neighbor with the neighbor default-
originate
command configured, the software does not apply the set filters in the
route map to that BGP peer or neighbor.
neighbor description
Assign a character string describing the neighbor or group of neighbors (peer group).

neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} description text
To delete a description, use the no neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-
name} description command.
Parameters
ip-address Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted decimal
format.
peer-group-
name
Enter the name of the peer group.
text Enter a continuous text string up to 80 characters.
