IT IS A REQUIREMENT OF CORGI MEMBERSHIP
TO REGISTER EVERY GAS APPLIANCE
In addition a change to Building Regulations (England and
W ales) requires the installer to notify
when installing a heating appliance, as from 1st April 2005.

If you notify via CORGI Scheme,
CORGI will then notify the Building
Control (LABC) who relevant Local
Authority Building Control (LABC)
scheme on members behalf
Competent Person’s
SELF CERTIFICATION SCHEME
BUILDING CONTROL
Contact your relevant Loc al
Authority Building Control (LABC)
who will arr ange an inspection or
contact a government approved
inspector
LABC will record the data and will
issue a certificate of compliance

THAT THE BENCHMARK
COMMISSIONING CHECKLIST IS
FULLY COMPLETED AND LEFT
WITH THE APPLIANCE
