radius-server timeout
To set the interval for which a router waits for a server host to reply before timing out, use the
radius-server timeout command in global configuration mode. To restore the default, use the no form
of this command.
radius-server timeout seconds
no radius-server timeout

Defaults seconds: 5 seconds

Usage Guidelines To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes the proper
task IDs. For detailed information about user groups and task IDs, see the Configuring AAA Services on
Cisco IOS XR Software module of the Cisco IOS XR System Security Configuration Guide.
Use the radius-server timeout command to set the number of seconds a router waits for a server host
to reply before timing out.

Examples The following example shows how to change the interval timer to 10 seconds:
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router# configure
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router(config)# radius-server timeout 10
Related Commands
seconds Number that specifies the timeout interval, in seconds. Range is from 1 to 1000.
