Sawhorses
Top Section U-Bar
NOTE: For door section identification see page 5.
Place the top and intermediate sections face down on
a couple of sawhorses or flat clean/ smooth surface.
Butt the top and intermediate sections together in the
proper stack sequence and flip up the hinges.
Refer to the u-bar schedule to determine the required
number of u-bar(s), and placement on top section.
Position the u-bar either up against top bracket
assembly, align top edge of u-bar with top edge of
top section, or up against upper hinge leafs. Center
the u-bars side to side on the section and secure
using (2) 1/4” -14 x 7/8” self drilling screws at each
end stile and center stile location.
NOTE: If you have windload codes 1100 and 1101
the u-bar is positioned below the top bracket
assembly.
NOTE: For windload codes other than 1100 and
1101 the u-bar is positioned above the top bracket
assembly.
