Stitch Selector
The stitch selector contro_ determines the stitch you selecL
Simply turn this controi until the desired stitch is indicated by the red indicator on the stitch indicator panel.
The bottom row ot stitches is seiected when the stitch length control is sat at the stretch stitch position.
Suitable width, stitch length and loot are shown in the guide message window.
When you select the desired stitch by turning the stitch selector, the information in the window will change
automatically.
Please use the colour in the guide window which corresponds to the colour of the stitch you select.
NOTE: To avoid needle or 1abric damage, be sure your needle is up and out of fabric when selecting a stitch.
Stitch patterns are color-coded to recommend setting zones at the stitch Iength control.
ZONES
e Red ............. Straight, zigzag and utility stitches
,_ Green ............ Geometric decorative stitches
Blue ............. Built-in buttonhole making
* Yellow ............ Stretch stitches
