Periodic inspectionand maintenancenormallyconsistsof changing or cleaningfilters and (under someconditions)
cleaning the coils.
FILTER- supplied. Inspectoncea month.Replacedisposable,or cleanpermanenttypeas necessary.DONOTreplace
permanenttypewith disposable.
MOTORS- indoorand outdoortan motors are permanentlylubricatedand requirenomaintenance.
OUTDOORCOIL- Foreignmaterial shouldnot beallowedtoaccumulateontheoutdoor coilsurfaceor other parts inthe
air circuit. Cleaningshould beas oftenas necessaryto keepthe coil clean.Usea brush,vacuum cleanerattachment,
or other suitable means. If water is used to cleanthecoil, be sure power to the unitis shutoff prior tocleaning.
NOTE:CARESHOULDBE USEDWHENCLEANINGTHE COILSSOTHATTHE COILFINSARENOTDAMAGED.
OUTDOORBASEDRAIN- Foreignmaterial shouldnotbeallowedtoclogthe drain hole.Inspect andclear'drain open-
ingprior to heatingseason.
