Warning: This conversion kit shall be installed by a qualied service agency in accordance
with the manufacturer’s instructions and all applicable codes and requirements of the
authority having jurisdiction. If the information in these instructions is not followed
exactly, a re, explosion or production of carbon monoxide may result causing property
damage, personal injury or loss of life. The qualied service agency is responsible for
the proper installation of this kit. The installation is not proper or complete until the
operation of the converted appliance is checked as specied in the manufacturer’s
instructions supplied with the kit.
Maintenance And Service
REMOVING VALVE COVER:
The valve cover can be removed to access the gas valve, the fan, wiring harness, or other components.
1. Remove the glass door as shown in the

2. Carefully remove the log set, ember
material, and brick panels, refer to

OG SET AND EMBER INSTALLATION.
3. Using a T-20 screwdriver remove the two
(2) screws that hold the burner tray in
place (pointed out in Figure 17). Pick up
the burner tray at the front (see Figure 18)
then pull it out of the rebox.
4. Using a T-20 screwdriver remove the six
(6) screws that hold the valve cover in
place (pointed out in Figure 19). Pick the
valve cover up then out of the rebox (see
Figure 20).
