TO REMOVE THE LATERAL DUCT
EXTENSION, FOR UNITS EQUIPPED
WITH THE LATERAL DUCT ACCESSORY
PACKAGE
1. Remove the front panel as shown in Figure 1.

-in. screws that secure the
chassis to the wall sleeve (see Figure 6). There are
2 screws on each side.
3. Remove the 2 screws that secure the lateral duct ex-
tension to the top of the lateral duct adapter as shown
in Figure 7.
4. Locate and remove the 2 screws that secure the
lateral duct extension to the bracket flange as shown
in Figure 8.
5. Carefully slide the chassis away from the extension
duct and remove from the sleeve (as shown in
Figure 9).
The unit basepan may have water in it. Tilt the unit
back slightly when removing it from the sleeve to
drain some of the water into the sleeve.
The chassis weighs between 110 and 150 pounds.
Take proper safety precautions to avoid personal in-
jury when lifting and moving the chassis.
