1) Insert the battery (9v) into Remote control. Slide back the battery compartment cover, insert and connect
a suitable battery and replace the cover.
2) The remote is now ready to use. In the event of battery failure the flame height can still be adjusted man-
ually using the knob B on the valve.
NOTE
Please note, the placement of the Remote control (temperature sensor) is important to assure
proper temperature regulation. Please refer to user instructions.
