Before Making Copies Chapter 2
Turning Off the Machine
1 Touch [Job Log] to check
that no jobs are queued.
2 If any copies or printouts
remain in the output tray,
remove them.
3 Set the power switch to
[O].

Reminder!
Do not turn off the machine while it is making copies or printing, otherwise a
paper misfeed may occur.
Do not turn off the machine while it is scanning or sending or receiving data,
otherwise all scanned data or transmission data will be deleted.
Do not turn off the machine while a queued job or stored data is waiting to be
printed, otherwise the jobs will be deleted.
When the Machine Is Turned Off
● The following are deleted.
❍ Settings that are not programmed, such as the number of copies
❍ Jobs queued to be printed
❍ Jobs stored in the memory
❍ Jobs saved with the “Reprint” function
● Stored zoom ratios, programmed Copy mode settings, Utility mode settings and
the data in the User Box are not erased.
