To sew on the left side of the zipper, attach the foot holder to
the right pin on the zipper foot.
To sew on the right side of the zipper, attach the foot holder
to the left pin on the zipper foot.

Fabric preparation
z Add 1 cm (3/8˝) to the zipper size. This is the overall
opening size.

o Basting
x Place the right sides of the fabric together and sew to the
end of the opening with a 2 cm (13/16˝) seam allowance.
Reverse Stitch to lock the seams.
Manually increase the stitch length to 5.0 and baste
the zipper opening with the thread tension loosened.
