INSTALLATION
Drums
IMPORTANT: RIGHT AND LEFT HAND IS
ALWAYS DETERMINED FROM INSIDE THE
BUILDING LOOKING OUT.
NOTE: For door section identification see
page 4.
TorqueMaster
®
counterbalance drums
are marked right and left hand. Uncoil the
counterbalance cables and make sure you
place the right hand cable loop on the right
hand milford pin and place the left hand
cable loop on the left hand milford pin.
Insert a roller into bottom bracket of the
bottom section and insert another roller
at #1 end hinge at the top of the bottom
section. Repeat for other side.
NOTE: Verify astragal (bottom seal) is
aligned with door section. If there is more
than 1/2” excess astragal on either side,
trim astragal even with door section.

Bottom Section
Before installing the bottom section,
the weather seal (may not be included)
must be installed (see PREPARING THE
OPENING on page 10)
Center the bottom section in the door
opening. Level section using wooden
shims (if necessary) under the bottom
section.
