Duct Furnaces
A duct furnace is normally installed in the
distribution duct of an air conditioning
system to supply warm air for heating.
This definition applies only to an
appliance which depends for air
circulation on a blower not furnished as
part of the furnace.
Knowledge and experience gained from
thousands of installations over many
years have gone into the design of the
Trane gas-fired duct furnace. No effort
has been spared to make this product
one of the best obtainable. The objective
was to produce an appliance that would
be low in first cost and installation cost,
dependable in performance and
endowed with long life under normal
operating conditions.
DUCT FURNACES ARE APPROVED FOR
BLOW-THRU APPLICATIONS ONLY.
Separated Combustion
Duct Furnace
The Trane separated combustion duct
furnace is designed to operate efficiently
and reliably, even in environments that
are dusty, dirty or mildly corrosive, or
where high humidity or slightly negative
pressure is present.
Horizontal Blower Assemblies
Trane horizontal blower assemblies have
been specially designed for air handling
systems of high static pressure in
combination with Trane duct furnaces.
They are matched against the proper
furnace size for greatest efficiency of
operation.
Applications include:
