put,efciencyandoveralllifeoftheunit.Makesure
thebafeispushedallofthewaytothebackofthe
reboxandtheblanketislayingat.
Firebrickisdesignedtoprotectyourrebox.Replace
rebricksthatarecrumbling,crackedorbroken.If
youhaveanoptionalashdoor,checktomakesure
thedoorisclosingproperly.
Thechimneyandchimney
capmustbeinspectedfor
sootandcreosoteduring
theburnseason.Thiswill
preventpipeblockage,poor
draft,andchimneyres.
Alwaysburndrywoodto
helppreventcapblockage
andcreosotebuild-up.
Keepingthedoorandglass
gasketingoodshapewill
maintaingoodburntimeson
alowburnsetting.
Checktheglassframefor
loosescrewstopreventair
leakage.
Checkthedoorlatchforproperadjustment.This
