OTE:Whenthespeedcontrolisturnedclockwise,
itwillclickontohighspeed.Continuetoturnthe
speedcontrolclockwisetodecreasethespeed.At
fullclockwise,theblowershouldblowgently,but
shouldnotstop.
1. With the appliance pluggedin, turn the speed
controlknobtoslow(fullclockwise).
2. Withasmallscrewdriver,adjusttheblowerspeed
byturningtheadjustmentmechanismthroughthe
holeonthesideofthespeedcontrol.
3. Adjustthespeed sotheblower runsslowly,but
doesnotstop.Turnclockwisetoslowtheblower
andcounterclockwisetoincreasethespeed.
Theblowerspeedcontrolforthisunitisadjustedatthefactory,
andnormallydoesnotrequirefurtheradjustment.
B. Adjusting The Blower Speed Control
A. Door Handle Assembly
1. Installwasherondoorhandleshaft.
2. Slidedoorhandlethroughdoor.
3. Installsecondwasher(s)asshowninFigure 19.1.
4. Installkeyingroove.
5. Aligngrooveinlatchcamwithkey;slidelatchcam
overshaft
6. Installlocknutbutdonotovertighten,thehandle
needstomovesmoothly.
7. Installspringhandleturninginacounter-clockwise
motiontorequired2inch(51mm)clearanceloca-
tionondoorhandlerod.Figure 19.1.
