APPENDIX A: REMOTE INSTALLATION
Cut a slit in the insulation half way
around the hose.
Do not cut into the
rubber steam hose.
Insert the hose clamp into
the slit and hook it onto the
rubber hose.

Seal off unconditioned space with
grommet (not provided) or caulk.

hose through the hole in the
mounting plate.

Downward slope can not be more than
3 ft below humidifier steam outlet.

perforated angle iron.
Otherwise,support
hose every 12 in. using
provided hooks.
