10.3.8 Installation of the RTG 3950 Inclined Version
Follow this instruction when mounting the Inclined version of the RTG
3950 Still-pipe Array antenna on a Still-pipe.
1 Mount the cover on the nozzle
and tighten the flange screws.
Leave two holes free for mount-
ing of the Stand Bracket. The
Stand can be placed on either
side of the cover depending on
which side is most suitable for
the particular installation.
2 Check that the guide pin is
mounted. The guide pin is used
to make sure that the antenna is
properly oriented towards the
transmitter head.
