3.1.7 Metrological Seal
A switch on the FCC board can be used to prevent unauthorized
changes in the RTG database. The switch can be sealed in the write-
inhibit position by using a special plastic cover.
Internal switch

External switch
REX can also be equipped with an external metrological seal. It consists
of a rod which is connected to a write protection switch inside the
transmitter head. The rod can be sealed.
