• If possible, use emergency releasehandleto disengage
trolley ONLYwhen garage door is CLOSED.Weakor broken
springs or unbalanceddoor could result in an open door
falling rapidly and/or unexpectedly.

is clearof persons and obstructions.
• NEVERusehandle to pull door open or closed. If ropeknot
becomes untied, you could fall.

Everymonth
• Manually operatedoor. If it is unbalancedor binding, call a
trained door systems technician.
• Checkto be sure door opens and closes fully. Adjust if
necessary (referto Adjustment section).
• Repeatthe safety reversetest. Make any necessary
adjustments (refer to Adjustment section).
Everyyear
• Oil door rollers, bearingsand hinges. Thegaragedoor opener
does not require additional lubrication. Do not grease the door
tracks.
THEREMOTECONTROLBATTERY
To prevent possible SERIOUSINJURYor DEATH:
• NEVERallow small children near batteries.
• If battery is swallowed, immediately notify doctor.
To reduce risk of fire, explosion or chemical burn:
• ReplaceONLYwith 3V2032 coin batteries.
• DONOTrecharge, disassemble, heatabove 212° F (100° C)
or incinerate.
The lithium battery should produce
power for up to 5 years.
To replacebattery, usethe visor clip
or screwdriver blade to pry open the
case asshown. Insert battery positive
side up (+).
Replacethe batterywith only 3V2032
coin cell batteries.
Disposeof old battery properly.
Pry open the case first in the
middle (1), then at each side
(2 and 3) with the visor clip.
