EVERY YEAR
• Oil door rollers,bearings and hinges.The garage door opener doesnotrequire additional
lubrication. Do notgrease the door tracks.
• Testthe batterybackup and consider replacing the battery to ensure the garage door opener will
operate during an electrical power outage,see page 32 to testthe batterybackup.

THE REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY
To preventpossible SERIOUS NJURY or DEATH:
• NEVERallowsmall children near batteries.
• Ifbattery is swallowed,immediatelynotify doctor.
To reduce riskoffire,explosion or chemical burn:
• Replace ONLY with 3V2032 coin batteries.
• DO NOT recharge,disassemble,heatabove 212°F (100°C) or incinerate.
The 3V2032 lithium batteryshould produce power for up to 5
years.Ifthe batteryislow, the remote control’sLED will notflash
when the button ispressed.
To replace battery,pryopen the case firstin the middle (1),then
ateach side (2 and 3) with the visor clip.
Replace the batteries with only 3V2032 coin cell batteries.Insert
battery positive side up.Dispose ofold batteriesproperly.
