1 Install the door control
Install the Door Control
To preventpossible SERIOUS INJURY orDEATHfromelectrocution:
• Be sure power is NOTconnected BEFORE installing door control.
• ConnectONLY to 12 VOLT lowvoltage wires.
To preventpossible SERIOUS INJURY orDEATHfroma closing garage door:
• Install door control within sightofgarage door,outofreach of children ata minimum heightof5 feet
(1 5 m),and awayfromALL moving partsofdoor.
• NEVER permit children to operate or playwith door control push buttons orremote control
transmitters.
• Activate door ONLY when itcan be seen clearly, is properlyadjusted,and there are no
obstructionsto door travel.
• ALWAYS keep garage door in sightuntil completelyclosed.NEVER permitanyone to crosspath of
closing garage door.

one end ofthe wire and separate the wires.

on the backofthe door control.The wires
can be connected to either screw.
PRE-WIREDINSTALLATIONS:Choose
any two wiresto connect,note which wires
are used so the correctwiresare connected
to the garage door opener in a later step.
1.3 Markthe location ofthe bottommounting
hole and drill a 5/32 inch (4 mm) hole.
