Problems and solutions
The yellow ink cartridge is nearly empty.
Obtain a replacement yellow ink cartridge (S020122).
The yellow ink cartridge is empty.
Replace the yellow ink cartridge with a new one
(S020122). See page 7-2 for instructions.
The yellow ink cartridge is not installed.
Install the yellow ink cartridge.
A memory error occurred when printing in High Speed
Copy mode. There is a discrepancy between the SIMMs
installed in the printer and the setting made in the Printer
and Option Information dialog box in the Utility menu.
Cancel printing. Make sure the Installed Memory setting in
the Printer and Option Information dialog box, accessible
from the Utility menu, matches the amount of SIMM
memory installed in the printer, then start printing.
Note:
This error may occur after the first page is printed.
The print head is not operating properly.
Turn off the printer. Check the inside of the printer for any
foreign objects or pieces of paper. Remove all foreign
objects and paper, then turn on the printer again.
Maintenance required.
Turn off the printer and contact your dealer.
