Audio and Video
This section explains how to congure the audio and video settings of the Network Camera. It is
composed of the following two columns: Video Settings and Audio Settings�
Video Settings
Video title: Enter a name that will be displayed on the title bar of the live video�
Color: Select to display color or black/white video streams�
Power line frequency: Set the power line frequency consistent with local utility settings to eliminate image
flickering associated with fluorescent lights� Note that after the power line frequency is changed, you
must disconnect and reconnect the power cord of the Network Camera in order for the new setting to
take effect�
Iris mode: Select a proper iris mode according to your environment�
For IP8151: It comes with an Auto-iris lens� Select Fixed or auto mode for Indoor/Outdoor environment�
For IP8151P: It comes with a P-iris lens for precise iris control via built-in stepping motor�
■ Indoor/Outdoor (auto mode): The sensor will automatically adjust the Exposure time and Gain control
according to the ambient light� Please refer to Exposure Settings on page 58 for detailed information�
The sensitivity value of the sensor ranges from 1 (low sensitivity) to 10 (high sensitivity)�
