Focus Assist (IP8151P only)
Please follow the steps to ne-tune the camera focus:
1. Adjust the C- or CS-mount ring and x the shooting direction.
2. Click “on“ to enable the focus assist function, then the Live Video Window will become full screen for
precise focus adjustment�
3� Push the focus assist button on the back panel of the camera, then a floating indicator will be
displayed on screen showing detailed focus information, which will change in accordance with the
manual adjustment�
4. Continue pushing the button to zoom in on the target area for ne tuning.
5. Click the “Esc” button to leave the full screen mode.
6. The Video Stream will become “FA” as shown on the right.
Iris Adjustment (IP8151P only)
The camera comes with a P-iris lens, which controls the iris with extreme precision with its built-in
stepping motor By using software controls, the lens maintains the iris opening at an optimal level at
all times, resulting in superior sharpness and depth of eld as well as image quality. Before using this
function, please refer to Audio and Video on page 54 to enable “manual iris” mode rst.
Global View: Click on this item to display the Global
View window� The Global View window contains a full
view image (the largest frame size of the captured
video) and a floating frame (the viewing region of
the current video stream). The oating frame allows
users to control the e-PTZ function (Electronic
Pan/Tilt/Zoom) For more information about e-PTZ
operation, please refer to E-PTZ Operation on page
