3.3.2 Rack-mounting options (Magnum 6K16) for Telco and ETSI
Standard
Magnum 6K16, a carrier class focused managed switch can be
mounted as rack-mount using the following kit options offered for this product –
K16-RMB Set of two rack-mount brackets for one 6K16 unit in a 19” RETMA 1U rack
space, with screws to attach the metal mounting brackets to the case. Can add Model K16-
EXTN-KIT to extend to ETSI and 23” rack width.
K16-2TRAY Rack mount tray fro holding two side-by-side 6K16’s in a 19” 1.5U rack
space, each 6K16 unit individually removable for service. Can add Model K16-EXTN-
KIT to extend to ETSI and 23” rack width.
K16-EXTN-KIT Kit of extender brackets for converting one K16-RMB or one K16-
2TRAY to ETSI and/or to 23” Telco rack.
The above mentioned rack-mount kits is being designed for Magnum 6K16 only to
provide the rack-mount support to the carrier class switch and filled the 19” RETMA 1U
rack space. The K16-EXTN-KIT is specially designed to meet the European Telco
Standard (ETSI) 23” Telco rack requirement.

The pro- carrier class Switch, Magnum 6K16 can be installed single, as it is being shown
on the above Fig. 3.4a on the K16-2Tray. The empty slot on K16-2Tray can be filled as
per the requirement. Easy to install the K16-2Tray comes along with all the accessories
to install securely and quickly. The 6K16 Switches are being installed side-by-
side to provide a larger port density, is shown below in Fig 3.4b
