create a realistic look. Bags of
ceramic ber embers and rock
wool are provided. The ceramic
ber comes in chunks that are
about 2 inches (5.1 cm) long.
Place them irregularly around
the burner. When there is a
sparse but even layer of embers,
spread the rock wool in the
same manner.

WARNINGS: DO NOT pack this ember material as this could create an unsafe condition. The pieces
should be lightly placed so they don’t block any of the burner ports. DO NOT allow any of the embers to
rest against the pilot assembly.
Caution: Use only the type of ember material supplied with this replace. Due to the irregular size of
the ember material, there may be more than required. Use of other foreign materials on the burners may
create dangerous conditions.

it to cool down. Then remove the glass and rearrange the ember material, making sure none of the
burner ports are blocked.
Maintenance: Once a year, the logs should be removed and checked for deterioration or large amounts
of soot. A small amount on the bottom side of the logs is normal. Remove and replace the logs in the
same manner described above.
If new/more embers and rock wool are required, contact your nearest ENVIRO dealer.
Never operate the replace with the glass door removed.
