Remove transport clip. Open
and close door to ensure smooth
operation.
Remove small margin shims, located
on the head and lock jambs, between
door and jambs.
With door open,
at hinges drill 1/8” dia. Pilot
holes and fasten #10 x 2-1/2”
screws (provided) through
hinges to anchor door frame
and prevent sagging.
Drill 1/8” dia. Pilot holes and
place (2) #8 x 2-1/2” screws
(provided) through strike mount-
ing holes to secure lock jamb
center and provide security.
Adjust strike in or out for proper
door operation and tighten
screws.
Close door. Carefully shim between jamb and opening
behind latch area. Open door and install lockset hardware.
Adjust sill
:
- Your door system may have an adjustable threshold
cap. When properly adjusted, it should be snug and difficult to
pull a dollar bill from under the door when it is closed, but the
bill can be removed without tearing.
This check should be performed a
each adjustment screw location.
Note
After adjusting the threshold cap, ensure that the weather strip
is flush with the top of the cap. Trim as neccessary.

las bisagras para anclar el marco y
evitar que se afloje.
Cierre la puerta. Coloque cuidadosamente calzas entre la jamba
y la abertura detras del area del pestillo. Abra la puerta e
instale los aditamentos de la cerradura.
Perfore agujeros de quia de 1/8”
diametro e inserte dos tornillos
#8 x 2-1/2” (incluidos) a traves
de las perforaciones para montar
la hembra de la cerradura de
manera que se fije el centro de la
jamba de la cerradura y se obten-
ga una mayor seguridad. Ajuste
la hembra de la cerradura hacia adentro o hacia adentro o
hacia afuera para que opere bien la puerta y termine de
insertar los tornillos.
