1. Appliance Location
NOTICE:
Checkbuildingcodespriortoinstallation.
• InstallationMUSTcomplywithalllocalbuilding codes
andregulationsincludingthosereferringtonationaland
Europeanstandards.
• Consultinsurancecarrier,local buildinginspector,re
ofcialsorauthoritieshavingjurisdictionoverrestrictions,
installationinspectionandpermits.
Itisagoodideatoplanyourinstallationonpaper,usingexact
measurementsforclearancesandoorprotection,before
actuallybeginningtheinstallation.Locationoftheappliance
andchimneywillaffectperformance.
Considerationmustbegivento:
• Safety,convenience,trafcow
• Placementofthechimneyandchimneyconnectorandto
minimizetheuseofchimneyoffsets.
• Placetheappliancewheretherewillbeaclearpassage
foraListedchimneythroughtheceilingandroof(verti-
cal)orthroughexteriorwall(horizontal).
• Installingtherequiredoutsideairkitwillaffecttheloca-
tionoftheventtermination.

2. Floor Support
The supporting oor under the appliance must be able
tohandletheweightoftheappliance,fuelloadandthe
weightofthechimney.
Ensurethatyouroorwillsuporttheseweightspriortoin-
stallation.Addsufcient additionalsupportto meetthis
weightrequirmentpriortoinstallation.Theweightofthis
applianceis109kgandwithafullhopperoffuelweighing
18kg,thetotalfortheapplianceandfuelis137kg.
