ELECTRICAL HAZARDS
DANGER- IMPROPER CONNECTION OF THE EQUIPMENT-
GROUNDING CONDUCTOR CAN RESULT IN A RISK OF
ELECTROCUTION. CHECK WITH A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN
OR SERVICE PERSON IF YOU ARE IN DOUBT AS TO WHETHER
THE UNIT IS PROPERLY GROUNDED.
Use only the electrical voltage and frequency specified on
model plate.
Space heater must be grounded. Use only a properly grounded three-wire
extension cord. Plug into grounded outlet only. If it should malfunction or
breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current
to reduce the risk of electric shock.
The space heater is a potential source of electrical shock if not kept dry.
Keep the space heater dry and do not use in rain or wet conditions. To
protect from moisture, operate it on a dry surface under an open, canopy-
like structure. Dry your hands if wet before touching the space heater.
Check that the entire cord is free of cuts or tears and that the plug has all
three prongs, especially a grounding pin.
