MODIFICATIONS FOR INSTALLATION WITH 19

The Kodiak has a factory height of 19

/16” (497mm) and it can be reduced to 19

/16” (484mm) by
modifying the unit and the surround panel.

Surround Panel:
1. Fasten the Surround Spacer to the inner top
surface of the Surround Panel using the four (4)
T-20 screws (refer to Figure 19).
2. Refer to INSTALLATION OF THE SURROUND PANEL - INSERT
to nish assembling the surround panel.
Insert Unit:
1. Remove the thirteen T-20 screws holding the
cabinet top in place (refer to Figure 20).
2. Remove the cabinet top and ip it onto its top.
3. Remove the Air Deector (shown in Figure 21) by removing the two (2) T-20 screws.
4. Re-install the cabinet top onto the unit. The screw holes along the top of the unit should now line up
with the top set of holes on the cabinet top.
