Manipulating Alphabets

Select indicated alphabet;
program BERNINA, touch OK.
Select Large Oval hoop. Select
Edit 2. Touch Show Grid icon 2x
to activate grid. Move lettering so
lower edge of text box rests on
center grid line.
Rotate lettering 90º.
Select Add Motif icon; program
Embroidery; touch OK. Use the
same process as above to rotate
word 90º. Move Embroidery
directly under BERNINA.
Touch OK when editing is done.
Stitch, trim & mount sample.

Select indicated alphabet;
program the word BERNINA,
touch OK.
Select the Large Oval hoop.
Go to Edit 2; rotate lettering 90º.
Touch Show Grid icon two times
to activate grid. Move lettering
so the lower edge of the letters
rest on the center grid line.
Go to Edit 1; select Add Motif
icon. Program Embroidery;
touch OK. Use same process
as above to rotate the word 90º.
Move Embroidery directly under
BERNINA.
Touch OK when editing is
complete. Stitch, trim, and
mount sample.

Select indicated alphabet. Select
medium size font. Select vertical
lettering. Program the word
BERNINA. Move the word to the
right. Select the Alphabet tab.
Program Embroidery. Touch OK.
Embroider sample. Press the
carriage return key after finishing
the last section to return the
carriage to the stored position.
Trim and mount sample.

Left click on the Lettering/Values
button on the design toolbar.
Place cursor on design screen;
left click. A vertical cursor appears.
Select indicated alphabet; type
BERNINA using the keyboard.
Press Enter; lettering is filled and
remains selected.
Use the Rotate CW/CCW tool to
rotate the lettering 90
º. Click
outside the lettering to deselect it.
Repeat above instructions to add
the word Embroidery to your
design. Position it directly under
the word BERNINA.
Save As manipulating alphabet.
Stitch, trim, and mount.
