E LECTRICAL SHO CK HAZARDS
WAR NING:
To reduce the risk of electric s hock, unplug the air service center from the
outletbefore attempting anym aintenance or cleaning. Turning off controls will
notreduce this risk.
Do not operate the VR-6000 with a damaged cord or plug replace the cord or plug
immediately. To reduce the risk of damage to electric plug and cord, disconnect
charger bypulling on the plug ratherthan the cord.
An extension cord should not be us ed unless absolutely neces sary. Use of an
improper extension cord could resultin a risk offire and electric shock.Ifextension cord
must be us ed, make sure:
a. That pins on plug of extension cord are the same number, s ize, and s hape as
thoseonplugonrecycler.
b.That extension cord is properlywired and in good electrical condition;and
c.That the wire size is large enough for the length ofcord as specified below:
Length ofcord in feet: 25 50 100 150
AWGsize ofcord: 16 12 10 8
MOT ION HAZARDS
WAR NING:
Engine parts that are in motion and unexpected movement of a vehicle can
injure or kill. When worki ng near moving engine part, wear snug fit clothing
and keep hands and fingers away from moving parts. Keep hoses and tools
clear of moving parts. Always stay clear of moving engine parts. Hoses and
tools can be thrown through the airifnotkept clear ofmoving engine parts.
The unexpected movement of a vehicle can injure or kill. When working on a vehicle,
always setthe parking brake or block the wheels ofthe vehicle being serviced.
