CONNECTING AUDIO
The NET5301T-I supports one audio input. The unit encodes audio and video signals simultaneously. This lets you listen to activity in the target area.
The unit supports both microphone and line input levels.

To implement audio:
1. Select the type of audio signal:
Mic/Spkr: Switch to Mic/Spkr to connect a microphone. The microphone input level is 5 mVp-p.
Line: Switch to Line to connect an amplified audio input device. The line input level is 1 Vp-p (0 dBV) nominal, 1.228 Vp-p (+4 dBU)
maximum. By default, the switch is set to Line.
2. Wire the input audio connector. Connect the signal high lead to the connector tip. Connect the common lead to the connector sleeve.
3. Connect a line input device or microphone to the blue 3.5 mm audio input monaural connector. A preamplified microphone is recommended.
NOTES:
• If the switch setting does not match your audio equipment, audio distortion problems may occur.
• Audio output is not supported at this time.
