• Blind Hemming
There are two blind hem stitches on your machine. The regular blind hem is used for woven fabrics. The stretch blind hem is
wider and wilt "give" and is used for knit and stretch fabrics.
1. Finish the raw edge of your hem any way you desire. (See Overcasting, p. 53 )
2. Measure, turn up your hem and pin.
NOTE: For lightweight fabrics, you may need a double fold.
3. Fold the material (wrong side out) on the edge to be stitched, as shown, leaving 1/4- of the finished hem edge showing.
4. Place garment under presser foot in such a manner that straight stitcheswill be sewn on extended edge. The zigzag stitch
should just catch the fold of the garment.
5. After hemming, press both sides of the finished hem. The top side of the garment will show only the blind stitches.

Votre machine permet d' ex6cuter deux types diff6rents de points d'ourlets invisibles. Le pomt d ourlet mvtstble ordinal e est
utilis_ pour les tiss6s et celui d' ourlet invisible extensible, pour los jerseys et les tissus extensibles, car il est a la fois #lastique
et plus large.
1. Piquez le bord non fini selon le gofit personnel. (Voyez le point de surfilage a Ia page 53.)
2. Mesurez, pliez l' ourlet par le dessus et _pinglez.
REMARQUE: Un pli double est parfois requis pour les tissus minces.
3. Son envers tourn_ vers le haut, pliez le tissu contre te bord a coudre, comme montr6, en vous assurant de laisser d@asser
de 1/4" du bord que vous avez fini pr_c_demment.
4. Glissez le v_tement sous le pied-de-biche, de rnani_re que des points droits soient piquds dans le bord qui d_passe.
5. Une fois l'ourlet termin_, repassez l' envers et l' endroit de celui-ci. Seule la trace des fils au sommet des points appara[t
sur l'endroit du v_tement.
