Quilting with Walking Foot
The walking foot is effective in preventing the fabric (light
materials, knits, real and imitation leather etc.) from slipping
or puckering, because it sandwiches the material between
the upper and the lower feed dog on the machine.
The quilting bar can also be attached on the walking foot to
make it easier to sew evenly spaced parallel rows of
stitches,

[I_ Loosen the thumbscrew and remove the foot holder.
Attach Walking foot (T)to the presser bar with the
lever (_ over the needle clamp screw _.,
Tighten the thumbscrew _) firmly with the large screw
driver.
Use quilting bar' for walking foot when quilting
[] Push the quilting bar 4_ down into the slot on the plastic
cover of the walking foot
[] Shift the quilting bar _ to the right or left to acquire the
desired position.

Manual Adjustment of Straight Stitches
Press the _Z_!Ikey.
The adjusting window displays the i+ and - keys for
needle drop position, stitch length and thread tension
adjustment.
Press the + or - key to change settings, then press the
oK key to register the setting&

(the same settings as when you purchased the
