dilution air intake at draft hood (see page 28).
Install correct orifice.
Turnoffheaterandgas,dean burnerhead.
Check dilutionairintake,exhaustventing,andair
openingsinbottombasepanforobstructionsor
blockage.
Check dilution air intake for obstructions or
blockage.
See "CONDENSATION" section.
Provide drip "TEE" to catch condensation from horizon-
tal section of exhaust vent close to blower assembly.
Tighten threaded connections.
Inspect other appliances near water heate_
See "CONDENSATION" section.
Install thermal expansion tank (DO NOT plug
T&P valve).
Check relief valvefor proper operation
(DO NOT plug T&P valve).
Drain and flush heater thoroughly then refill.
Chlorinate water supply.
Refer to TEMPERATUREREGULATION.
See "CONDENSATION" section.
Clean sediment from tank. Refer to DRAINING
instruction in Maintenance section of manual.
Refer to COMBUSTION AIR AND VENTILATION
on pages I0, I I, and 12.
Test polarity and correct.
