Troubleshooting
Problem Possible cause Remedy
Engine does not start
Battery is flat Recharge or replace battery
No fuel in tank Fill up with petrol
Fuel tap is set to OFF Open fuel tap
Seat contact switch not pressed Sit down on the seat of the
sweeper
Sweeper does not move
Lever (bypass valve) on converter
transmission is open
Push lever in opposite direction
to travel – see “Pushing the
sweeper by hand”
Brushes do not rotate
V-belt has snapped Call Customer Service
V-belt is loose Check belt tension and adjust
as required
Main brush or side brush has been
jammed by packing bands or
similar item
Remove blockage
No dust extraction
Fan is not working Check V-belt
Filter is blocked Clean or replace filters
Poor sweeping results
Brushes are worn down Replace brushes
Waste hopper is full Empty waste hopper
Incorrect sweeping pattern Adjust sweeping pattern
Dust is stirred up during
sweeping
Worn out seals on sweeper, filter
not fitted properly or defective
Replace defective seals; fit filter
correctly or replace it
Lifting mechanism for
emptying hopper does not
work
Fuse has blown Replace fuse or inform
Customer Service if fuse blows
repeatedly
Defective switch Inform Customer Service
Defective hydraulic unit Inform Customer Service
Sweeper travels forwards
or backwards even though
