Verifyyourprogram setpointtimeentries. The heatingand
coolingprograms utilizethesamesetpoint times,but have
individual setpointtemperaturesfor theMORN,DAY,EVEand
NIGHT setpoints. See SettingYour EnergySavingProgram

Thermostatprogramhas been temporarilyoverriddenand
programindicatoris flashingin thedisplay. Waittillnext
setpointandthe temporaryoverridewillexpireor change
setpointtemperaturetodesiredcomfortlevel.

HOLDandTEMPis showingin display. Press HOLD button to
releasepermanentholdand returnthe thermostat to normal
programoperation.

Check to see if OFFis shownin display. Thisindicatesthatthe
systemis turnedoffat thethermostat. Movethesystem
selectorswitchtothe HEAT or COOLposition. Afterthe
compressor shortcycle protection5-minute periodexpires the
systemshouldstartwithin aminutestime.
Compressor protectionfeaturesmaybe in effectdueto
compressor shortcycle conditions. SeeCompressorProtection
sectionfor full explanationof thisfeature.
HeatPumpmaybe malfunctioning. Review the CHECKstatus
indicatorlighttosee if itislit. If theCHECKstatusindicatorlight
islit,call aprofessionalservicetechnician to confirmheatpump
operationandprovidenecessaryservice. Ifheatingisrequired
youcanslidethe systemswitchto EMER settingwhichwillstart
theEmergency Heat sourcetoprovideheatinguntilthe heat
pumpcanbe serviced.

IfACPower is present,calla professionalservicetechnician to
verifythermostatand system performance.
Thermostat will not
allowme to program
a setpoint
temperature higher
than90˚ F (32˚ C).
Thisisabovethe normalthermostattemperaturesetting range
of45˚ to 90˚F (7˚ to 32˚ C).
HI is shown in the
thermostat display
where the room
temperature is
normallydisplayed.
Thetemperaturesensed by the thermostat is higherthanthe
99˚F (37˚C) upperlimitof thethermostatsdisplay range. The
displaywillreturnto normalafterthesensedtemperature
lowers withinthe 40˚ to99˚ F(5˚to37˚ C)displayrange. Turnon
thecooling systemor use othermethodsto lowerthe
temperature accordingly.
Thisconditioncouldoccur from the systembeing turnedoff
duringan exceptionallywarmperiodor upon installationwhen
thethermostathasbeenstoredfora longperiodof time in a
warmvehicle or locationprior to beinginstalled. Thethermostat
isequipped with amechanicalhightemperaturesafetyswitch
thatwillturnoff the system shouldthe temperatureexceed99˚
F(37˚ C).
