Ifyou desireto use adifferentQuickProgramGroupor IndividualDay programmodeyou can
changeby pressingthe DAY/TIMEbutton to selectanothergroupin the followingsequence,
Whole Week- Weekday- Weekend- Monday- Tuesday-Wednesday- Thursday-
Friday- Saturday -Sunday- WholeWeek.

Onceyouhavefinished your Quick ProgramGrouporIndividualDay selection. Pressthe or
buttonsto changethe time to the desiredhourin one hourincrements,pressPROG
button. The minuteportionofthe setpointtimewillbeginflashing.

Press the or buttons to changethetimeto thedesired minutein 10-minuteincrements,
press PROG button. The SET TEMPwillbeginflashing.
6.
Press the or buttons to changethesetpointtemperatureto thedesired settingin 1˚ F
increments (0.5˚C),pressPROGbutton. Thethermostatwillnow displaytheDAY
setpointtimeandtemperature. Again,youwill see the hourportionofthe setpointtime
andtheAM/PMindicatorwill be flashing.
7.
Followsteps4 through6 tosetthesetpoint times and temperatures for theDAY,EVEand
NIGHT setpoints for theQuickProgram Group or IndividualDayselectionfor the HEAT mode.
8.
Place the systemswitch in the COOL mode of operation. Thedisplaywillshow COOL. Follow
steps 2through6 to programthesetpointtimesand temperaturesforthe Quick Program
Group or IndividualDayselectionfor theCOOLmode.
9.
Repeat steps3 through8 for additionalQuick ProgramGroupsorIndividualDayprogramming
asrequired.
NOTE: To eraseall entered programs,current time of day,day ofweek and otheruser
settings,gently press RESET button usinga paper clip or asmall penciltip. This willreturn
allThermostat settings to theirdefault values.

6.1
Review Set Temperature
1.
Press and hold or buttons. Thecurrent
setpointtemperaturewillbedisplayed in theplace
ofthe currentroomtemperature,andthe indicator
SETTEMPwillbe displayed.
2.
Thedisplay will returnto normaloperating mode
whenthe or buttons are released. Continuing
toholdthe or buttonsfor 3secondsorlongerwillallowthe user to temporarily
overridethecurrentprogrammed setpoint(SeeTemporary Program Override).

REMEMBER, this thermostat includes anautomatic compressorprotection
feature toavoid potentialdamage to the heat pump systemfrom short cycling (See
Compressor Protection).

Efficient Recovery Mode (ERM™)
Thisthermostatisequipped with aspecialfeature to maximize your energysavingsby
utilizingthemosteffectivesourceofheatingor coolingto meet your programneedsduring
recoveryfromsetback(orsetup)temperatures. Our Efficient RecoveryMode(ERM
™
)feature
isdesigned to automatically calculatewhentoturnyour first(heatpump)stageof yourmulti-
stageheating or cooling systemto meet yourupcomingcomfortsetpointtemperaturesetting.
While in normaloperatingmode,thisfeaturewillstartcalculatingthestarttimeforyour first
stage(heatpump)twohourspriortothe upcomingcomfortsetpoint temperature. Duringthis
twohourtimeperioditwill monitorperformance and controlyour systemstaging
requirements.The second(auxiliary)stagesof heatingor coolingwillbe availableduringthis
2-hourperiodif requiredtomeetextraordinaryheating or coolingrequirements.
6.5
Compressor Protection
Thisthermostatincludesanautomatic compressorprotectionfeaturetoavoidpotential
damage to the heat pumpsystemfromshort cycling. Thisthermostatautomaticallyprovides
a5-minutedelay afterturningoffthe heatingor coolingheatpumpoutputto protectthe
compressor.

Temporary Program Override

Permanent Hold (Vacation) Mode
1.
Press and hold or buttons for 3seconds. The
entiredisplaywillflashonceandthe SET TEMP
indicatorwillbe flashing. Releasethe or
buttonsand pressthe or buttonsagainas
desiredto adjustthe set temperature.
2.
Thedisplay will returnto normaloperating mode
after 15 secondsoryou can pressRESUME button.
3. The program indicator (MORN, DAY,EVE ORNIGHT) will be flashingin the display
indicating that aTemporary Program Overrideis in effect.The Temporary Program
Override willreset when the nextsetpoint time occurs.

Press the HOLDbuttontopermanentlybypass the
programschedule. Thecurrentsetpoint
temperature will be heldpermanentlyandHOLD
andTEMPwillshow in thedisplay.
2.
Press the HOLDbuttonagaintoreturnthe
thermostattonormalprogramoperation.
3. You canview or change yoursetpoint at anytime using the or buttons
(see ReviewSet Temperature orTemporary Program Override).
