3-Thread Super Stretch Stitch -
Attaching Elastic
Attach the 2-thread adapter (upper looper converter) to the upper
looper. Note: This is an optional accessory for the 700D.
Following the instructions in your owner’s manual thread the serger for
a Super Stretch Stitch using Woolly Nylon in the lower looper.
Adjust the stitch length to 4mm.
Increase the presser foot pressure.
Attach the Elasticator Foot. Turn the pressure adjustment screw (on the
roller guide) clockwise to set pressure as desired.
Raise the roller guide and insert the elastic into the slot at the front of
the presser foot.
Place the fabric under the foot and serge, cutting off the fold.
Trim and mount the sample.
