Thedisplayinterfacetotheheaterhastheoptionofselectingbetween
degreesFahrenheitanddegreesCelsiusfortemperaturedisplays.This
canbefoundinthe“DisplaySettings”menu.Alsointhismenu,youmay
adjusthowthebacklightoperatesandthecontrastoftheLCDscreen.

4. Fault Conditions
Thiswaterheaterisequippedwithelectroniccontrolsthathavethe
abilitytomonitoralmostallaspectsofthewaterheateroperation.In
the case that there is an undesirable or unsafe condition that occurs,
thewaterheatercontrolswilldetectthisconditionanddeterminethe
appropriateaction.PartofthisisdisplayingtheinformationontheLCD
inplaintextthataccuratelydescribestheconditionanddiagnostics
informationthatcanbeusedtocorrecttheissue.
• Faults: This is a safety related condition that has been detected
by the heater.
NOTE: When these conditions occur, the water heater will not
continueanyfurtherheatingcyclesandthewaterwillnolongerbe
heateduntiltheconditioniscorrectedand,inmostcases,powerhas
been cycled.

thecontrol.BypressingtheAdvancedbutton,detailedinformationcan
befoundregardingdiagnosingandresolvingtheproblem.

5. Access to the Current Fault
Whenafaulthasbeendetectedbythecontrol,itwillautomaticallybe
displayedonthescreenandthebacklightwillblink.Ifyouchoosetoleave
thecurrentfaultbypressingtheBackkey,youcanalwaysreturntothe
faultscreenthroughthemenu.
