The Chargers defense is full of exceptional players as well. No one
stands out above the rest, but that’s because there are few holes
on this side of the ball. Eric Weddle is a force in the secondary and
Shaun Phillips can still be a dominant pass rusher.
The scouting department for San Diego has to be feeling good.
They’re in a position to take the best player available in most cases.
A few areas you can target early on however is LG and SS. Also
Takeo Spikes is 35 years old and the starting MLB. You’ll certainly
need to bolster that position in the offseason.
Playing as a Player
If you’re looking to play right away for a contender, I can’t think of
a better position than as a Red Zone Threat WR for the Chargers.
While they aren’t desperate for a WR, you can come in right away
and make an impact and with maximizing practice time and pre-
season reps, you just might break camp as the teams number 1 WR.
On defense, you’ll want to look at a Run Supporting SS.
