Cleaning
HeatExchangerTubes–YourPelletStoveRoomHeaterisdesignedwithabuiltinheatexchangertubecleaner.
Thisshouldbeusedevery2or3daystoremoveashbuildupontheheatexchangertubes,whichcanreduceheat
transfer.Thehandle,fortheheatexchangertubecleaner,
islocatedinfrontoftheventtubesonfrontside of
heater.Slidetherodfronttobackseveraltimestocleanthetubesthenfollowtheinstructionsforashremoval.
Fans–DANGER:RISKOFELECTRICSHOCK.DISCONNECTPOWERBEFORESERVICINGUNIT
Over time ash or dust may accumulate on the blades of the circulation & exhaust fans. The fans should be
inspected,periodically,andifanyaccu mulationispresentvacuumedcleanastheashordustcanim pedethefans
performance.Itisalsopossiblethatcreosote mayaccumulateintheexhaust
fan,thismustbebrushedclean.
Theexhaustfancanbefoundbehindtheleftsidepanel(facingthefrontoftheheater),thecirculationfancanbe
foundbehindtherightsidepanel.Toaccesstheigniter,removetheairinlettubeandcover(2screws)(Figure27).
