Longer lengths of tubing are available from Sears
(see page 19) for installingthe RO assembly, and/or
water supply saddle valve away from the RO faucet.
Examples: In the basement, under the kitchen or
bathroom sink. In a closet or room nearby the kit-
chen or bathroom.
You can run the RO assembly drain tubing direct-
ly to an open drain and bypass the faucet. Suitable
open drains include a laundry tub, floor, sump and
stand pipe drains. It is very important to keep the
end of the RO drain tubing at least 1-1/2" above
the drain point. This provides an air gap to prevent
a back-siphon of sewer water.
Omit the following steps:
- all of step 2, pages 6 and 7.
- steps C7 and C8, page 9.
- step 4B, page 10.
