a. Remove the extension table.
b. Raise the needle to its highest position.
c. Remove the foot holder.
d, Pull bobbin thread out about 3" straight back toward rear of machine.
e. Insert hook of base plate into rectangular hole of needle plate°
f. Pull lever back to align the hook with the rectangular hole.
g. Snap base p_ate down to fit two pins (A) at the back of base plate into
two round holes (B) on needle plate.
