Installing a sealed enclosure around the oven
shell may cause improper operation by
starving the burner system of combustion air.
The air flow which travels above will cause
“negative pressure” below where the gas
burner is located. The air underneath will travel
towards the air flow above creating a suction
which will force the gas flame downwards. To
prevent this a non-combustable lid must be
placed above the oven.
3) Altered airflow from air intake in a separate room with low pressure.
