Start-up
1 Using the Start/Stop button, ”Jog" the motor
to check for proper wheel rotation. The motor
should be started in accordance with the manufac-
turer's recommendations. Arrows on the fan indi-
cate the proper direction of rotation and airflow.
2 Throttle the blower discharge
damper ¼ open. (It is shown
fully open in this photo.)
3 The fan may now be brought
up to speed. Watch for anything
unusual such as vibration, over-
heating of bearings and motor,
etc.
4 Throttle the discharge damper until the pressure is 15-20" WC.
5 Check the motor amperage against the nameplate amperage to
make sure the motor is not overloading.
