14.1 Operation Types
The operation types are summarized below.

Operation Description
Startup Starting up and operating the UPS.
Switch Power Supply Switching power supply source between UPS and Bypass.
Stop Stop the inverter and chopper/charger.
Complete Shutdown Turn off the control power supply. Shut down the UPS completely.
Float / Equalize Charge Changing the battery recharge mode between oat charge and
equalize charge.
Protection Charge Automatic recharge mode transition from protection charge to oat
charge.
EPO (Emergency Power Off) Opens up UPS input and output circuit breakers. Now power ows
through the unit.
14.2 Pre-operational Check
Before operating the UPS:
1. Make sure all covers/panels are in place and secured.
2. Make sure the temperature in the UPS/Battery room is within specied limits.
3. Before starting the UPS, check the power source to make sure AC input power is on.
4. Make sure battery breaker’s auxiliary A-contact is connected to the terminal block TB1.
CAUTION
Perform the pre-operational check before operating the UPS.
